Hey in response to Jamerica9’s post, you not gonna get herpes from a fist fight so don’t worry about it. and you won’t get the herpes simplex virus from someone with a cold sore spitting on you…the virus is not spread through saliva or blood.

  2. Jamerica9 Says:

i have another question… do you think gene therapy using a modified herpes simplex strand, and reinfecting the body with the modified herpes virus and possibly do something to the virus… I dont know much about gene therapy, and gene therapy is only in its infant stage, so i dont know

  3. Jamerica9 Says:

i asked and got specifically a hsv blood test… and it came out negative… but i am still scared because i just had a fist fight with someone with an active cold sore… i am very sure he didnt spit on me or anything, but i am still paranoid… I was reading about this one vaccine for women called HerpeVac, but why is it only for women, eh its a good start to finding a cure

  4. VirusWarfare Says:

Edit below– Blood test for detecting the Herpes Virus 1 or 2 is not included in the standard battery of STD testing. They should inform people at a young age to also include Herpes Testing. Its probably one of the main reasons why there is a large number of people with this disease. Im very passionate about finding a cure for both HSV 1/2 and hopefully this will happen in the near future. Emails to me are always welcome.

  5. VirusWarfare Says:

Forgot to mention - For STD testing, blood testing is not part of the standard test. Make sure to ask your physician to add this to the battery of testing. Ok, Im thinking of starting a website that talks about whats is herpes, etc. Most important, this will be a website that accepts donations to help find a cure. This money will be distributed to Universities that are close to finding a CURE and need additional monies. If you have any ideas or comments, email me. Thanks! VW

  6. VirusWarfare Says:

cont. I would also like to mention that Duke University in North Carolina is very close to finding a cure as well. I would spend all the savings that I have and future paychecks to receive a cure and have a second chance. I would someday like to find someone and start my own family - and be able to have *** with my wife without worrying about spreading it to her. I think what everything boils down to is money. Lets figure it out and get to work for the cure.

  7. VirusWarfare Says:

I think that each University that is working on curing Herpes should post up on their website a place to take private funding from individual or companies. I really believe that companies would makes a ton of money and help thousands of people like myself get a cure. Im not really sure if people understand how much this effects us mentally and physically. Yes it doesnt kill us but somedays we feel depressed and like a sexual leper. Lets all join together to push for the cure. Please!

  8. Metahumans Says:

I may be wrong but I feel like it’s harder for men to find a girl who doesn’t care about this sort of thing. Women are in demand.

  9. edBOYedBOY Says:

    You’re hot!!

  10. northofthed Says:

the biggest thinig i worry about is having children, without passing the virus to my mate or even worse my children, if anyone has information on this itd be greatly appreciated..

  11. northofthed Says:

Thanks I really needed this. I just had a partner that lied to me. She knew was infected but asked me not to use a condom. Stupid me. This video actually gave me hope vs all the “miracle snake oil cures” that pop up when you google it. Hopefully if we spread the word about this we can grow more funding and awareness. Previously I wasn’t aware that 1 in 5 carry hsv2 and that 1 in 3 African Americans! Crazy! If i make a video Ill be sure to make it a response video. Once again thanks for the hope.

  12. Jamerica9 Says:

i had my test results… and im hsv negative… but hell, this was the scariest month of my life… i dont want anyone to suffer with this virus, im going to write a letter to TIME magazine, asking for awareness, the urgency and capabilities of finding a vaccination that would silence the virus in the body… remember that everybody gets a flu shot every year to avoid the symptoms a the flu, imagine this kind of shot for the cold sore…

  13. tfireaper Says:

i think it would be great to find a cure and vaccine. but i think people would use it in such an immoral way, that is, sleeping around. yeah, that might sound stupid, but i know a lot of people have regrets with who they have been with, not because they have an STD, because of the emotional factors as well.

  14. gypsyl8di Says:

    that worries me too

  15. flushhush Says:

    Thanks for the video.
I think that a cure for herpes will be a breakthrough for a variety of other nerves diseases. The more important to find a cure.
Untill then, I for my part want to do more for keeping a balanced immunesystem, by eating better, training more regularely and reducing the coffee and smoking… Could you start a private fundraising to the research on facebook? I would donate!

  16. Jamerica9 Says:

im surprised how similar herpes is compared to other viruses… if you have ever had the cold or influenza, that stuff still sticks in your body, but they are reduced to absolutely nothing, practically dead… if only they could do the same for the herpes virus… i see the herpes virus becoming the futures common cold… if we can fin a cure by then

  17. f4rph33r Says:

Damn Seriously I wish I was rich like Bill Gates I’d fund U of F for that treatment.

  18. dragonwolf89 Says:

dude thanks this video needs to be posted everywhere people need to know

  19. ter41 Says:

It seems like the product called resolve seems to be working.I have not tried this product so i’m not really sure.I will write back when i get more information.

  20. Jamerica9 Says:

i have a retarded question (what id a doctor cut open the infected area straight to the nerves system, and flood the whole thing with the acy*(thing)) wouldnt that pretty much kill the disease… or could it cause like paralysis or somethin (sorry if u thought that was stupid) i dont know much about the human anatomy

  21. soclose787 Says:

“The vaccine is based on an HSV-2 strain, which is genetically similar to HSV-1, and the vaccine does provide protection against HSV-1 in mice. We hope that the vaccine will provide benefits against HSV-2 and HSV-1 infected individuals but that will need to be tested in clinical trials.

Acambis (and now their parent company Sanofi Pasteur) hope to start a phase I clinical trial in 2009. Clinical trials usually take a few years to complete and get FDA approval.”

I have sent this Video to major media outlets such as Oprah Winfrey, The Big Idea, Men’s Health, and Coast to Coast AM, they have links for consumer ideas and stories.

There is strength in numbers, and I truly believe that if we flood their mailboxes with this video then success will come almost instantly.

The way that economy is now Hammerhead Ribozyme would be a godsend to the (NYSE)

  24. Herpes Dating Girl Says:

Telling your partner you have genital herpes can be one from the hardest issues about becoming diagnosed with the disease. Whether or not you have been together for years, or you are just beginning out, the conversation are going to be difficult–but it truly is one it is advisable to have.
