Robert wrote this after kind of blowing off a friend he had not seen in a long time, only to find out a couple weeks later that that friend had died after that.
i recently lost a good friend and this song means alot more now.

It is funny, I’m born 1992 and unitl 1992 they had their best songs. (or the ones that I like the most like Boys Dont Cry, Lovesong, Friday Im In Love, Just Like Heaven, A Forest etc.)
No offense they are a great band, the only band I like from the 80s, they are creative, with a special sound. But I prefere their ‘older’ stuff (-1992) more.
the cure modernized, sometimes I think the anciet cure much better, but everything and everyone have to change one day, what cares is that they are keeping their quality, and it is lacking nowadays

i should let my teacher listen to dis and say dis is what i did yesterday for my pe hmwrk

Their new videos may be lame, but their older ones are some of the greatest videos ever made. Pictures of You, Lovecats, The End of the World, Lovesong etc are great IMO.
Why they allways have crapy videos, its a great band and all, but all the videos they have are not that great, its like depeche mode, great songs but crapy videos (or maybe its just me)
