One of the aspects I admire about Robert is that his spirit is still the same even now as it was back then in the late 1970s when they started.

  2. rodrigosaunier Says:

A linha vocal da música parece um pouco diferente da original. Mesmo assim é ótima essa versão!

  3. novembrine1 Says:

Damn ppl bangs their heads as if it’s Maiden playing..

The **** has happened to kids today? THey seem to sleep at concerts..

  4. itsonu Says:

This is the cure on his best. Specially the change form “jumping” to “yourney” has always been a highlight to me at cure live concerts i wittnessed in that area. That bass-loop…. great.

  5. ajittffcure Says:

And I was three years old.

  6. Rol808 Says:

fantastic playing from all three of them! what a pefect example of minimalist cure, i enjoyed this lineup.

just goes to show that Lol’s simple and minimal beats were important to that era of cure. and he was sober here, so he played alot better

  14. pehbunny Says:

I love the bass playing on this song…good tone too….this is by far my favorite era of the Cure! Thanks for posting!

  15. Ritsardo Says:

Thanks Drew for this video. Enjoyed watching Grinding halt! Lol is a great drummer!

  16. Qxiq Says:

Robert Smith said in an interview that the reason Lol’s drumming sounded as good as it did on the dark trilogy is that Simon helped him with his drum parts in the studio. That doesn’t say much for his drumming skills.

  17. mantishandz Says:

    R. Smith looks so much better with his hair styled like he has it in this video…

    Man I love the Cure.

  18. LOSTANDLONEY Says:

  19. christianrosenrot Says:

i love the bass on another journey by train, i love simon, of course i love robert. The cure is the best band ever!!

  20. christianrosenrot Says:

jason is much better than lol, ask robert!! you should read the comments of robert about lol as drummer. Anyway Boris Williams has been the best drummer ever!!

  21. christianrosenrot Says:

you are wrong, boris was the best drummer, and Robert himself has said that Lol was very bad at the drums. If he returns, i hope he plays the keyboard.
