  5. Siggedoris Says:

Last time I checked it’s been pretty much the same bandmembers since I saw them live in -96, but maybe I’m wrong about that. I love the Cure and has been doing so since the early -90’s!

  6. pistoleros28 Says:

i don’t like the cure coz it’s basically robert smith… just robert smith… with different band members every 2years or so… robert smith is okay… the band? not so much…

    love that song.
    love that cd, really.

  10. motleyjuggalo Says:

I agree their music is pretty ranged from apualing joy to sad depression and other deep darker songs. you should listen o the song “disintegraion” if you are looking for a good sad song.

  11. munkalicious2012 Says:

    no…eclectic.
    means a wide variety.
they go from the “siamese twins”, which in MY opinion is one of their saddest songs, to “friday i’m in love” and “just like heaven”.
that’s why they really have no label, except for radass music.

  12. motleyjuggalo Says:

i wouldn’t call it elctric because it’ss not techno, it’s more of an atmosperic type of punk-goth rock then on the now opppisite instead of the cure’s type of music

  13. munkalicious2012 Says:

    BAHAHA!
    that just made my day.

  14. munkalicious2012 Says:

even though the depression is better =D
but they did technically start the “goth” revolution.
    not the icky goth.
    the “post-punk” goth.
but labels ARE crapp. the cure really has no label, since their music is so eclectic.

  15. kaaarliiii Says:

    just awesome

  16. kaaarliiii Says:

    damn right ;)

  17. DemonVixen86 Says:

How about just labeling it as good music?
wht is the difference btwn goth and emo anyway…teenage labels are so dumb…

  18. Ryoshia Says:

the one about reading my previous statement wasn’t directed towards you.. it was directed towards Samlemus..

  19. motleyjuggalo Says:

i do have education in music i know The cure previously known as “the easy cure” do not prefer any lable to their genre but an “emo” band is mostly screaming and complaining. the cure is an indepent individual band that makes their own music that was sort of a mix up between punk and other genres

  20. motleyjuggalo Says:

i know but someone said this was an emo song i would think smith would perfer a goth title than a emo lable. But more of their songs are directed to love more than depression.

  21. Ryoshia Says:

they aren’t goth.. actually Robert prefers no labels this is what Smith says about Gothic Rock: Smith has also expressed his distaste for gothic rock, describing it as “incredibly dull and monotonous. A dirge really.” Just because they sing a few dark songs doesn’t make a band goth!!!

  22. Ryoshia Says:

read my previous statement.. obviously you, too, have no education in music..

  23. shelly05 Says:

ROBERT has a way with words. love most all his songs
